Windows Mobile Compatibility
Pendragon Forms 8 now provides the ability to directly capture barcode scans and trigger data input, record lookup, and data validation on Windows Mobile devices.
Using the Forms interface designer, organizations can rapidly create their offline barcode mobile solutions and sync the data to a centralized source.
The following instructions are run on a Trimble Nomad
Download and install the Zetakey HTML5 browser. The commercial version requires purchasing one license per unit.
From the home screen, tap the Windows button at the bottom left of the screen.
Tap Scan parameters. In scan parameters, scroll down, tap the "Prefix" parameter setting and set it to a tilde (~). Then tap the "Suffix" parameter and set it to "\r". Then Tap OK to save the parameters.
Your settings are now set. Optionally download the ScanTest.pff at the bottom of this page and import it on your account on the forms page. Freeze and publishing the forms.
To access Pendragon Forms from your Windows Mobile device, open your Zetakey browser and navigate to your account. Cloud accounts are accessible via the /forms directory, e.g. https://pendracct1001.pendragonforms.com/forms where 1001 would be replaced with your account number. After logging in and syncing, you will have access to your forms offline.
